Hello - Can anyone give me some info on tactical markings and their color for marine units in Guadacanal? I working on a M3A1. I found some pictures, but all are side views and I have found only one color plate with the company number in a square red # on white. Help is appreciated Thanks Butch cassidy Tanks46.

try the Ausralian war memorial. Under search type "tanks, General stuart".
They do have a lot of photos of both Aussie and US tanks in Australia and the Pacific.
