Ok, if we want to have a new, year long build we need some ideas.
My proposal:
Secrets and Monsters.
Generally, this would allow for things like railguns, seige weapons, experimental weaponry, one-offs, and such.
I can expand if need be, but I would like to hear some other ideas first!

Geez I'm pedaling as fast as I can to get this year's done...
Sounds good! Perhaps expand a bit- Monsters? As in BIG weapons?
My only other thought- and I'm not sure it is enough of a variant from where we've been- is "Civil Defense", ie how the civilian populace responded? Gun Trucks out of their pickups, ad hoc units of townsfolk, that type of thing.
I'm game for just about anything in this genre. I love it- I'm still slowly grinding away on my original (uncompleted) entry.

Yeah! Here we go!
I like the civil defense idea, as far as civvies re-doing their personal vehicles to "defend the farm".
I also like the "Big Ugly Monster of Armor" idea.
Lets keep it unreal people! :-)

Ok guys, it has been a week, and it seems like there is starting to be a consensus. Here is what I am thinking:
1. One off vehicles/experiments. This would include rebuilding civvie vehciles for local defense (M60 turret on your uncle's Subaru?) and also for the experimental vehicles that never saw more than a hand-full at the best (the M1 based AAA laser system, the M1 series bridgelayer, M1 series AAA gun system...etc.)
2. Monsters. These would most likely be all fiction, but it would allow things like Battelships and Carriers, Railguns, Super heavy artillery, and even the largest bombers like the B2 or the Blackjack. However, this would really be aimed for the "large" items...the idea starting this was both Cuhails railgun build in the armor section and also looking at things like the WWII German Leopold and Karl kits.
Of course, things like Banners and a Ribbon would have to be worked out, as well as getting at least 10 participants.

Now if I can just finish the original T2K build I started as well as the 05. Gotta stop reading Armorama SO much and build more. Off to the other side of the table to build...

I have a question
I am building a Zvezda M3 scout car and adding two Mk19 grenade launchers to it Basically it's protecting the food storage in Lancaster county,Pa
Would that fit in with this year's build? Or be more in line with T2K 2006 build? If it's next years then I'll sign out of this year's build and sign up for next year's build

Okay, we still need a couple of enlistments in T2K06 to "officially" have a campaign going, so, go to the campaign folder and ENLIST people! Let's go, let's go, let's go!

If you are referring to the M42 Duster, then you will need a good story to go with it as it was a production vehcile.
If you are refering to a prototype or paper design, then saying they built it or sent it out to fight is a bit easier.
I DO NOT want to tell people that they cannot enter into the campaign. I want people to figure out how to build what they want within the guidlines of the campaign.
I'm really easy to please...really.
