My kind of guys. Think I can spot my great great great... grand father there :-)
Very nice model, and pretty accurate too. No Hollywood helmets with horns except for the guy in the bow. There are no evidence of vikings wearing horns or feathers on their helmets. Have to say you have made an exellent piece of work. Congratulations. Now, set of for some serious plundering of Ireland!!!
Cheers

Excellent indeed!
I have seen this one done before but in a slightly different setting. Your painting is first class and water is right on the money. What did you use to make it? Is it plaster?

excellent as always. Except that the form and number of waves created by a sailship or an oared ship has a different pattern defined by some simple calculations. In terms of mdel making, I don't think we can find a better one than this one you made.
Congratulations.

Wow this is more great work!!! I love the ship but especially the way you can see the rocks and ocean floor under the water, which leads me to ask how did you do the water? Cheers Kevin

WoW! Good work there man. 17 crews plus the boat.
I never knew someone who actually built things like this. No I'll just wait for the Roman Bireme.
I read this Andrea vikings in MilMod . I wished I could afford one someday. Maybe Andreas U-Boot.
