heres a few progress pictures of my Tiger nicknamed (Tiki).
i have left off the feifel air cleaners as the pictures i have of this tank does not show the rear so i dont know if it had them on,plus most tigers in kursk did not need them.
the greenish paint on it is a mix of mr surfacer 1000 and squadron green putty just to give it a rough look.theres a few parts from my dragon tigers that i have used as the main kit is a Tamiya early Tiger.also i used some PE parts from Aber and a jordio gun barrel.

Thanks for looking

Ha Karl! Glad you started on this beast. I would also like to build "Tiki" Did TIKI have zimmerit? Can't wait for you to finish!

BTW, great job on the Emil. The cobblestone base is a really nice touch!

No zimmerit on Tiki. I'm pretty sure the consensus is that it was base coated in gray and had bands of dark yellow overspray, so I assume that would make it an early/mid vehicle.
Here's a link with a couple of pics (middle of page) of Tiki. I've read somewhere on the 'net that these were taken during the staging for Kursk, but I can't confirm that with a reference.

Actually the pictures were taken in the spring of 43 ..Tiki was repainted for the Kursk offensive ..and the numbers were changed too.
