I am am almost done with my M3 Lee and have noticed a major oversight on my part. I have a small misalignment on the front of my tank. I thought it would cover better, but the weathering is making it more obvious. I thought about applying some mud, but have heard too much weathering on a 1/72 scale model can over power it.
On that note what is the easiest way to make dry mud/dirt. I have several of Mig's pigments, but have never tried the mud thing. I am a little nervouse because they say once the mud is on, it is there for good. I hate to ruin a good model because of it. Here is a picture (sorry kind of blurry):
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
Cheers,

Here's a thought - try putting some extra gear around - maybe a tarp or cammo netting with some covering the offending part, mud is ok but alot of the time it makes me wonder what it is covering - keep in mind if it got thrown that high on the glacis then it would be all over the tracks and the rear as well.
