Can the Italeri M-925 5 ton Shelter truck be used for the M35 conversion.

If you are talking about making a Vietnam era M54 5-ton, you have to use the Italeri M925 (with or without shelter) and the AFV Club M35A2 (or M49A2C). Here is an article by Dave "Animal" Willet on how to combine the 2 kits to make an M54.

It is pretty easy to do. I have built 2 already using his techniques.

Sorry I ment the M54. I knew you could do it useing 925 cargo truck just was'nt sure how the shelter truck.

Yup, M925 Shelter Truck kit is the standard M925 kit with an extra sprue added for the shelter. The shelter simply sits in the cargo bed and has a couple cables that secure it in place. Other than that, it is the same kit.
