O.K. Guys,I need a little help(unless you talk to my wife who thinks I need major help).I have the following;
Esci T-55
Verlinden Super-detail set
AEF T-55 dozer Blade
What I need guys is this;
(1)Is the Trumpeter T-55 deck accurate? Is it at least workable without the surgery needed for the ESCI and Verlinden decks?
(2)Are the fuel cells the correct sizes and demensions?
(3)Would the Skif model make a better doner kit?
(4)Should I scratch the thought of making an accurate T-55 out of this kit and make a Recovery Vehicle out of it?
Of course I'm going to purchase the Tamiya T-55 due out soon,Just want to figure out the options for my Esci kit.Any info would be appreciated.Thanks Guys,
Hugh

Hi,:-H

Sorry to say that I am no T-55 expert and I can't help much with reference, but here are several links that you might find useful:

http://www5b.biglobe.ne.jp/~TANK-GUY/KIT-REVIEW06.html

This link gives the kit comparrison of the T-55s from Esci, Trumpeter, Lee and Skif.

Here is a link that has 3 T-55 albums that you might like to check out. It has actual photographs of the real tank.

Hope this helps :-)
