Hi guys,

I'm looking into getting a set of Friul tracks for my Panther II (even though I cringe at the thought of spending as much on a set of tracks as the whole kit together).

Has anyone tried to fit the "Friulmodel ATL-21 Tiger II, Hunting Tiger, Panther II (1/35)" set to a Panther II? I'd just like to know how difficult it was and if I should stick with the 'Magic' tracks supplied.

Cheers,
Soren

Hey Soren,

That would be the one!

I have worked on many Fruil tracks. Their older product are very fragile, however the new ones are very good. Not hard to build at all.

I would recommand Fruil tracks over plastic (including Modelcasten) any time!

Here is the DML Panther ll with Fruil model (ATL-21) tracks. These are the transport track for the Tiger ll. They assemble well, with a center floating link and of course the side links over the track pins. Kind of fun to assemble .....

And about the cost.....if you have to "shudder" over $40.00 USD, you should build the kit tracks.

Hi Crockett and Wildcard,

Thanks for your answers. I love your Panther, Crockett - I just hope I can make mine half as good.

I'll give my poor credit card some more abuse...

Cheers,
Soren
