Sharp looking dio, was the Kangaroo a kit, or a conversion (I've never seen a kit of one before) and where is the building from?
very nice

Beautiful! What mfg. is the AFV kit?Ruined walls and base are outstanding in detail.Very unique.Weathering gives it a 'falling darkness' look.

Thankyou very much for all your questions and comments everyone, I`m not sure if this conversion kit was supposed to be a Resicast kit I recieved it from a friend who quit the hobby and it was in unbuilt condition but started. I did find in amongst some parts a resin Ram turret and another resin machine gunners turret so I`m guessing this was to be a Ram tank conversion. Anyways because there isn`t any interior detail with this kit a cover with a large hatch was fashioned.
The building is made of repositioned pieces of a Synergy building weathered with just a dark wash and drybrushed a light dust colour.

Me too!
It isn't quite what I expect to see from the title. I was expecting a Kangoroo personnel carrier produced by Italeri back in the 70's, shortly after their release of M7, the Priest.
The disappointment soon disappear when I saw something nice, the dio, the vehicle and the figure. Sorry about my ignorance, what exactly is this vehicle?

Thanks for the comments folks,Don, this is the Ram Kangaroo built here in Canada.
Mary, you won`t have to wait very long, just post another dio using a few different vehicles. I have been meaning to post a few new dios but have been quite wrapped up in building a few unique Allied vehicles to use.In the next few days I will be posting some new stuff for you all to draw some ideas from. I hope you will enjoy them.

Hey Russ - your work is like London buses - nothing for ages and then two come along at once!!!! Another goodie - love the Kangaroo.
PS: I beleive that the Kangaroo was named because the Aussie animal of the same name carries it's young in it's pouch, and the vehicle also carries it's troops inside!!

Another excellent bit of Commonwealth kit.
I agree with warthog that the dio gives an idea of the destruction.
One thing you might wish to rectify is the gunners-side track which seems to be a bit 'erratic- it lifts off the sprocket and seems to twist about half way along the top run.

That wont be the resicast kit if it lacks an interior and has a turret.
I bet you have the old verlinden ram gun tank kit.
very nice job, im actually part way through building the resicast version at the moment.
The hatch covering the turret opening wouldnt have appeared on the real thing, but it is the best way to hide the empty interior.
The only other option would have been coverting it to a badger, which would require a lot of reshaping to the hull.

Thankyou everyone and yes I did realize that it does closely resemble the Badger but I`m chaulking it up to crew preference for the turret cover and the tracks are the correct tracks but they`re some kind of stiff! I can`t get everything perfect,if I did that you guys wouldn`t have anything to notice and talk about, lol! Thanks again and enjoy!

An awsome dio indeed! everything is perfect! I love it! One question only: where did the Kangaroo came from? I haven't seen many kits of them out! Could you reveal the secret, please?
Cheers and happy modelling!
