Russ, another excellent dio from you as always. I love the feel of this one..it has a real sense of urgency to it...the crowded streets, the hustle and bustle. Personally..i would like to see a bit more dust...but thats just my opinion..

BTW..the stretcher on the medics jeep is cool...Did you scratchbuild that or is it part of a kit?

Beautiful Russ, very nice build, busy with lots of eye catchers, a snapshot in time.
Could you post pic. # 3 or 4 in b&w or sepia tone, it looks like it would be a snapshot from W.W.II.

this is a very nice diorama. The spacing is what makes this one work. The crowding and mashing of everything together is very realistic.

wow, another cool one Russ! Folks, you have to see this one up close and personal, there is so much detail everywhere on this one, it boggles the mind! The Accurate Armour armoured car is the crowning piece for this one, we didn't realise actually how big of a kit this was until Russ brought it out and showed us...it's massive!
Great work Russ!

Awesome. Exactly the ones I would like to build.
Can you give the names of the vehicles?
Congratulations, this is stunning.

Many thanks for all of your comments,I`m glad that you all enjoy them, thank you. The field ambulance is the Italeri kit the stretcher comes with the kit but if I`m not mistaken I think I scrounged another one from a second kit. The shortbox radio cmp is the Tamiya gun tractor cab and chassis, house type body is scratched.
(with the kind help of my friend Dave Cox)
The cargo C60L cmp is built using chassis and box from the Tamiya LRDG kit,box was lengthened and the cab is scratched. The Staghound is a resin kit from Accurate Armour built straight from the box with the addition of stowage. The scoutcar is a scratchbuilt Canadian Lynx, not a Dingo,it`s a bit larger in size.
Figures are all from the parts box, some are resin. Buildings are pieces from various kits arranged to resemble a street fasaud.

Another Russ Sharp beauty.

I really like this one. It is the crowdy atmosphere you created. very well done. The vehicles are all well painted and some interesting variants among them. Also the figures do a good job on the diorama and they are painted in a very good way.

A job well done mate. Good addition to the Russ Sharp Collection

Thanks guys,go ahead Robert and add these to the gallery collection if you would like and can do it this way.Durring the coming weeks I hope to have some different vehicles used in various diorama settings,I have already completed a dio which includes a scratchbuilt Sexton and another depicting an ambulance jeep from the RCAMC,no photos of these two as yet ! Coming right up are an Armoured Bulldozer
and a sherman in Italy. Again thanks all.

What can I say but WOW. The more I've looked at these photos the more details I find. As others have said the best thing about it is the subject matter. Also, though it seems this is a unwritten law, there doesn't seem to be a soldier in sight drinking tea. :-)

Well done.

Really nice. Its not easy to put that many vehicles together and get the spacing right. You have done this very well. Excellant .
