im happy with my badger 150. even with the medium nozzle i can spray nice fine lines using proper preausre and thinning with acrylics.

I would personally go with an Iwata.

I started out with the Azteks both single and double action.. in the end I had 5 of them. Some people swear by them but I never could get the results I wanted untill I swithed to Badgers.. the difference for me was like night and day..
i'd recommend the Badger 155 or the 360 both are great. the only difference between them is the 360 can also work as a gravity feed which is good for small detail work with small amounts of paint.

I have a Badger 175 Crescendo. I'm very satisfied with it. The 175 is easy to disassemble for cleaning, easy to swap out needles and is to be versatile enough for most of my basic modeling needs. I also got it with all three needle sizes for under $70.

Currently using an Aztec with 4 different nozzles.. Still kinda playing around with it.. I really like the tan nozzle.. Depending on the ratio of thinner/paint and compresor pressures, you can do a really fine line.. Not sure if I like the fit of it in my hand though.. Feels a bit awkward.. I'll give it a few more months. If I'm still having issue, I think Im going to try a Paasche.. Can grab one of those for about 100 CAD

I'm not a big fan of Aztex's.... some love them others hate them.....
Best suggestion.... get the one that feels confortable, and the one you have easy access to replacement parts. Everything else comes with experience, and lots of practice.
I use Badgers, and Iwatas.
