Does anyone know if the king tiger used any form of transport tracks like a normal tiger?

There is a great photo of a knocked out Tiger II in Panzerwrecks vol 1 that has "18 tooth drive sprockets driving the 660mm wide Verladkette (transport track)." (page 29)
So I guess that's a yes

Hi Hellbent,
Friulmodel makes a set of Tiger II transport tracks (ATL-21).
They are mentioned in this article about the Tiger II as well (http://www.elccweb.com/MissingLinks/Tweaks/TigerII_TweakList.pdf). You might find other useful stuff there.
Cheers,
Soren

Dragon makes a set of king tiger transport tracks as well.
Kit number 3810 "king Tiger/Jagdtiger Transport Track". They seem to be out production and hard to find, but affordable than friuls.

I think someone is eyeing that Trumpeter BR52 locomotive !! It would require a special heavy duty flatcar to carry that beast (KT). I read somewhere that a kit was made or being considered, but for my life I can't remember by who.
