There are old kits, closer to 1/76 and some newer ones. I bought an old M4A3 105mm one and it was the same kit I had bought over 20 years ago. I also bought an M4A1(?) and it appeared to be a new kit and seemed to be about 1/72 scale.

The late model Pz IV Ausf J (I think) is nice, it has some interior detail and makes up into a good kit.
That's it's good points.
Bad points: rubber band tracks that lift it clear of the table.
The whole range is the same. And, as Rob has noted they vary in scale. Better to start with some of the new Revell models unless you can figure a way to go without the tracks -perhaps in a diorama or similar...

The older kits are pretty much as posted above. Recently however they have released some kits that I think are some of the best small scale models to date.
Both the late model Tiger I and the IS-2 ('43 and M) are excellent. Great detail and terrific molded tracks. I would highly recommend them both.
