Was it common to see a Tiger I with a headlamp knocked off? You can probably guess why I'm asking this...

Thanks.

I have some spare Tamiya ones if they will help you.

I think you can pretty well get away with any "soft" fittings being missing from AFV's that have been in battle.

Thanks for the replies. I thought I could probably get away with an absent lamp, since I have already banged up the fenders a bit, but I just wanted a second opinion.
Taylor: I should have said that I'm building in 1/72, so the Tamiya parts won't really do me any good. Thanks for the offer, though.

Thanks again

The headlamps were removeable and would be done so in anticipation of heavy enemy action. They'd be stored inside the tank. You can be safe!

I have to agree with Roy on this one ...they were removed more times than not ...so you will probably be better off with the lights off ..There was a cap that fitted over the fitting to keep dirt out though.

If sou still want the light, I could send it to you, I got the Revell Tiger E with 50% of the parts missing (thanks to an "accident"), but the lights are still there

I'm with Roy on this one too; I personally like battle damage though so if you already have some of that then you're good to go with either reason.

Thanks, everyone! I think I'll just leave the lights off, since that seems more historically accurate. And again, thanks for all the replacement offers!
