That's looking the goods, sas! I like the fact that when I saw the first pic the improv. camo worked a treat, hiding the shapes of the afvs... So much to look at in a small area!
Cheers

The floral stuff, I really like it. What did you use for the:

A. Straw roof

B. Branches on tanks

Thanks, really good job!

Thankyou all for your kind comments, this dio was sort of a test for me in that I had never tried using the natural vegitation camo that the German forces used so much,so off to Micheals and picked out a dried branch of floral arrangement with some colour, give that fallish look to add to the mix. I was quite happy with the outcome and my wife really enjoyed this one.
The roofing straw was done with a wisk broom purchased from Micheals, graciously donated to our modelling cause by a very good friends Mom who happened to be cleaning out her crafting supplies.
Yes these are both Marders,a III and a II D.

Russ, again some very fine work!!! I love Russian dio settings. You have once again done some fantastic work here. the marders, ground work and buildings are excellent. I have only a couple nitpicks. the dried plants you are using as camo should have the trunks/limbs/branches painted or dyed brown or gray to simulate bark instead of the green color. The one Marder shows a lot of dirt in its tracks but there is no torn up turf showing the tracks how it got there. And finally unless that straw is brand new making that roof it should be tinted or dyed a grayish color. Again I dint mean to detract from this great piece of work, these are just my two cents and I think would add to the overall feel to this piece. Cheers Kevin

Wow! That is a lot of camouflage. Allied aircraft are going to have a hard time finding this group

All very good points Kevin, yes I get ribbed about no track marks in the groundcover all the time,is something I still have to learn to do or at least try to get in there,my ground cover is not very thick and when I do put tracking into the ground then hit it with water/whiteglue mix to freeze it they just dissappear! I`m not usually around when this stuff is settin up either but we`ll figure it out! Many thanks for the pointers I`ll make use of them.

The Marder II is I believe to be an Allan kit,I could be wrong as this tank came to me in a busted up state, put it back together as best I could and fashioned some leftover photoetch sprues for the back end. The other marder is an Italeri kit.
