As a new user to this site, The thread 'Tragically sad news' has really shown the form of family that Armorama offers, unlike some where you feel that you have to be part of the 'clique' to take part. I have felt able to join in with the community, rather than just lurking.
So that said I look forward to many more happy hours taking part in and enjoying the copious articles and discussions that take place amongst modellers from all of the corners of the earth.....if only governments could act in the same manner.
Regards to everybody,
John

Second home? My wife thinks it's my first.
Welcome to the big "A" John. Glad to see our home-away-from-home ever expanding.

Hi John
Welcome aboard! I'm obviously biased but I love this place! I'd visited other internet modelling sites and never felt a part of the communities.
I was all ready to write net-modelling off as a bad job when I followed a link to Armorama on an off-chance. What a difference! Staff_Jim really has created something very special here...
All the best

I used to be registered on 6 different modelling sites, now down to 2 and this is the only one that gets hit every available moment - it really is a community, also my main contact with any other modellers.
