Great Tiger Russ, I know what fun you had building this one! :-) (don't worry, I'll be in the same boat when I restart construction on mine)
Poor thing looks like it's been through hell and back, well done.

Russ - another stonker my friend. I agree that in this case the 'dust' is a little light in colour, but the way that the model is lit may have something to do with that - otherwise a great dio.

Hey

I assume the crew left in a hurry. Why did they take the trouble to close all the hatches?

With hatches open the tank would have more of an "abandonned tank - look"

Also the camouflage net....wouldn't it give problems when the barrel recoils?

The dio looks very nice, how do you build so many?

Hi guys and thanks, the figures are from Tamiya, the tank obstickles were painted a hull red, while still wet a
light dusting of dirt was sprinkled in certain points and this soaked up the hull red colour as well. When dry, drybrush everything and then apply orange pastel at your discretion.
I don`t think it`s the drybrushing that everyones seeing,
it`s probably the pastels that are coming more to life under the lights as pics are taken.
Never thought of that one Martin, since the thing is going to blow who cares if the hatchs are closed unless they didn`t make it out at all. All of these dios weren`t built in a week just haven`t posted here for a while, this dio for instance was built last summer and your seeing it now for the first time.

Hey there, nice diorama, but i have to ask....why are there shells and loose equipment on the tiger. In battle wouldnt it have those things stowed inside...

Yep your more than likely right Ian they would have it all stowed away but when I do a diorama I have to use stuff,I have to make it interesting to look at and when a kit comes with a couple of metal brass shells I simply must use them,LOL!!

You're the king of drybrushing!
Now I am starting to wonder how many other dios you have to show...

Ropi, there are probably HUNDREDS of dios that Russ has done.... :-)
Hmm, Russ, you should get all of your pics together and make a picure book of all of the stuff you've done over the years! "Dios By SAS"

Russ, Nice diorama. You have given the viewer so much to look at..and in such a tight space. I like it. Can't wait to see your next installment of your dios..
