Well in my world I do not get hobby related gifts. My stash is 10 feet high and when non-hobby people see it they say "Why do you need more?", as an insider I say "It's not enough!"

Any way share you opinion....

Gee, my vote made it 50/50 hahaha. There's nothing like balance in the force.

Models as Holiday gifts..oh my..hehe...Kevin got me three of the Tamiya 1/48th kits that i didn't have for my collection..

I guess that could qualify as diorama supplies...

But the thing is I have to ask for it or they just get me a gift card to the LHS. Which in some cases is better because i can get what i want.

I've never gotten any type of diorama supply, or even a model, at Christmas. It's not for lack of leaving plenty of hints aroud. SIGH. I have asked for a battery operated Dremel tool this year. Let's see if I've been a good enough boy to get one. My daughters do keep me supplied with DVDs of old war movies for inspiration.

SWMBO says "Yes dear, of course you can buy the AA whatever it is, but just remember Kenny needs a new coat, Mairi needs a pair of warm, furry boots for the winter and unless you butcher the "milk cow" what will we eat"?

My reply of "you could always get a job too" failed miserably :-) :-) :-) :-)

I drop lots of hints, but SWMBO responds that she would not know what to get and besides, I already have enough "tank model stuff" to last a lifetime. Other than adding to the stash, she is very supportive of the hobby I must say!

For all the guys that drop the hints, and never get the dio stuff or even the model stuff they hint about. Its time to get SWMBO envolved in the ladies forum. I just read a post on it by Tarok and he thinks thats a great place for his wife to go to find out about which kits are hot and such. I have to agree. So come on guys try to get your ladies to join up and head to the female forum. It could be good for the both of you. Cheers Kevin
