Aother ONE... You win the volume prize holy cow.
You know what I'd like to see? I'd like to see a shot of the display case with all of these projects on display.

In my honest opinion, this is not one of your best Russ. The vehicle must have had to reverse into position....whilst under fire? Too much drybrushing too, and some of the foilage along the fence line looks a little too like ..... unpainted pipe cleaners?

Pretty cool Russ, forgot about this one!
Scott, display case?! Ha! Once he's done with a dio, it goes into a cardboard box for storage, never to see the light of day again, unless it's for our club displays!

I had the same feeling that Vinnie. Your vehicle should be the other way round when you look at the direction the soldiers are facing.
Another point is the rear hatch should be down too.
Nothing that hard to correct and get a better dio.

Looks very good, SAS-man, and if you take the above comments onboard, it'll only look better. Personally, I'm not too bothered about the direction of the truck as it might have turned and stalled or whatever. But the tarp does look too heavily airbrushed. Gives it the texture of rock in the pix IMHO. Agree with the comment about the pipecleaners too.
Only thing I could add is that I feel it's a bit unnantural for the soldiers to be crossing a little stream like that on a bridge under fire. Perfect bullet magnet if it wasn't already mined. Safer to wade across.

I hadn`t thought of this scene as being under fire but more of a backdoor operation, get there, have a last minuite briefing or instruction and then procede. I did a similar dio with the Red Devils running across a bridge in Arnhem,(which has not been seen here as yet). As far as the truck being in the wrong position, perhaps, but I had another reason for placing it thusly,it wouldn`t fit the other way round, lol!
The pipe cleaners are actually a type of dried grass sold in North America at the local Micheals craft stores and comes in a grey to a biege color and in a rather large bage for the amount. I thought of a marshy bank with reeds in a subtle colour, thought I`d give it a go!
The bridge is all wood construction and is from a Christmas Village collection.
