Hey all!

Just some pics on the progress of my Polish M10 for the Walcheren '44 campaign. The kit is from AFV and very good quality!

Hi Paul,
Looking good! The interior; is it included in the kit or did you scratch that?

Keep it up (ga zo door )

Ah lovely. Have you found a crew yet for your tank? If not, I can recommend some of Ultracasts figures. They're very nice

Hi Mark and Martin!

Thanks for the nice comments!

The interior comes with the kit. So far the kit is very detailed and very fun to build. Even the suspension works, although I had to order the rubber 'springs' by the Dutch distrubuterer of AFV (Overbeek) because they where manco in the kit...
(I guess that's why the kit was 7,50 euro (!) instead of 40 euro...)

Yes, some nice figures would look good. Indeed the Ultracast sets came across my mind. Don't know if I gonna place figures, but its always an option.

Looking good Paul!
Excuse me my silly question, but will the turret be fastened to the hull somehow? I dont see that little 'foots' that hold the turret and let it rotate at the same time as found on most models?

Cheers

Hey Pedro,

No silly question!
The turret can be losely placed in a ring upon the hull. It don't need those little foots-system that you see with many other models; it is in balance (even with the aluminium barrel) and stay in place if you don't do anything strange with the model ;-)
The turret is fully turnable.

Also, the upper hull is not glued in place but can be removed very easy to see the detailed interior.
AFV made a great kit with this!

Thanks!

Paul

LOL
I do strange things with my models all the time :-)
Its definitely interesting idea about the hull and the turret looks more realistic than that with ' foots' .

Cheers
Pedro
