I was wondering if there are or have been any kits for the Kaiser / Jeep M715 or the Dodge M37 series of vehicles. Plastic or resin in 1/35?

I was just looking through some military vehicle sites for ideas and saw several with these but don't recall ever seeing them as kits.

SkyBow had an M37 proposed, but I'm not sure if it came out or not. I'm not aware of anything for the M715, but others might have a better idea for you.

No on both. Skybow was working on, and produced prototypes of the M37 - but they were never released or entered production. I can't be 100% correct that those molds went to either AFV Club or Okuno - but I suspect so.

Absolutely no knowledge of if/when it could see hobby shelves.

Well I guess I'll just have to watch and hope for the M37. Its too bad nobody has done either of these, lots of stuff they could be used for.

Thanks

I would also love to have found a kit for a M715. The closest I could come is to scratchbuild one in 1/18 from the front half of a die cast Jeep Wagoneer. I have most of it built, but it's been slow going. I wanted to built one becuase I have the real thing parked in my garage that I restored last year.

The restoration can be seen here http://www.davidallenracing.com/M715.htm And anything you could ever want to know about a M715 can be found here http://www.m715zone.com/
