Here are a shot or two of my completed M1 Panther II from Dragon. I overall liked the detail of the kit. After building this amazing looking kit I can't wait for there redone M1A1 AIM. The only negative I have is regarding the Magic tracks as I found them to be a bit to fiddly, but that may be because this was my first time working with them. The figures were Alpines Modern US tankers, which are excellent. A thnak you goes to Gino for the soda box template

Thanks for looking,

Hi,
you've done a great job on his one. I like the ground work too but it's a pity your base is so small that the rear of the tank lays out of it.

anyway, it's really cool to look at.

thanks for the compliment. Yeah I am a bit bummed about the size of the base. However, I don't have anything to cut bases to size with here so I am currently stuck with what I can buy at the store. Plus I picked a bunch of 8x10 pic frames from Target for $3 dollars each so I try stick with those, since if I spend too much more on the hobby my wife will kill me :-)

Again thanks and have a great day

Very good looking model, Sean
Personally I would have left one of the hatches open, and scratch built some basic interior, to give an impression of that the crew have just climbed out of the vehicle.

Cheers

I thought about doing a bit of basic interior, but just ran out of time to get it done. (I try to set a time limit to get projects done. This way a finish more than one a year). I always have something else I should have done on each kit. I agree an open hatch would been a good idea.

Thanks for the feed back.

Arrange for SWMBO and you to get an allowance each, then she can never complain about how much you spend

No way, I would actually give up my models before her(Crazy I know)
