I've been knocking together the FSV from AFV Club as a break from retentively detailed WWII German armor projects today and made it to working on the front hull.
Dry fitting the floatation cell on the front hull, I find the fit at the bottom is fine, the notches on the float cell line up with the hinges on the hull just fine.
The problem is the top. It hangs up on the engine hatch hinge point strengthing ribs..
I know I am not explaining this very well, but the end result is that there is an appreciable gap at the top of the floatation cell between the float cell and the hull.
Anyone built this kit?
Did you run into this problem?
Any pics of the real deal?
Is the vehicle ever fielded without the float cell?
