Just a few pic's of the finished model. The new owner will add the badge and name plate later. He tried to give me a hard time for the rusty tracks, but he, the tracks on his M110 are that rusty..untill next weekend, as he said he's going to paint them.... .

Outstanding job! I've got two kits with the Verlinden conversion sitting downstairs in the basement, and you're making me want to get on them!!!

Very nice example. Love the paint and subtle weathering. Bravo.

Thanks Dave
And Tom, it's a great little kit, fall together very well, only problem I came across was the seat on the right side of the gun, the kit mounting places it facing slightly back, which would make it impossible to use the traverse handel from the seat. . As the real M110 hasn't got the seat mounted I could not work out how that would have worked excactly, so I paced it facing staight to the middle, which means you could use both the traverse handle and the brake. I'm glad my model inspires you, I'm looking forward to see your conversion.

nice piece of work. I think you nailed it pretty good - and thank you for the pictures of the real thing. It's always interesting to see the "real thing" behind the idea

Me too!!! Like most of us, I've got so many kits in my stash, and everytime I see another great build here on the site, a different one jumps up and says "Oooohh, OOHH!!!, Pick ME, Pick MEEEE!!!!"" :-) :-)
We've all said it and it's so true!! So many kits, so little time!!!! I'll be working on my 1/350 Missouri for Dreadnaughts right up until the end, you can bet on that. Shoot, I've spent the last 6-7 hours just doing work on the aft stack, and I'm still not finished!!!
