Guys....need some help in understanding the different type of paint for modelling....
I just realize that those little tamiya bottle is different from the big tamiya bottle. The first one is enamel and the second is acrylic...
I have been air-brushing using acrylic and weathering using oil for filtering.....
I was told that enamel is used for weathering....??? but it look so different from oil
I used mineral spirit to thin the oil...can I used it to thin enamel without buying the thinner for enamel ? blue cap i remember....
I now know there a few type paint for modelling...
Acrylic
oil
laquer
enamel
vallejo ??
When do we use the different type of paint for ? I have been using the the first 2 a lot...Just though I ping this site before I burn a big hole in my wallet again
