Hello and Happy Holidays, my friends!
I need a little help, opinions, and suggestions regarding this model kit, Italeri Models 2 1/2 ton 6X6 truck, kit #6271. Has anyone built this new kit from Italeri, which is a re-release of the same kit of the 80's?...I would like to hear anyone's experience's, opinion's, or suggestions for A/M accesories that may be available for this type/style of truck. Thanks for the help!

Perth has a review on it: http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/italeri/it6271.htm

I built it in the 80s. I think it was issued in a Testors yellow box when I made one. It was a long time ago, and I did not use any advance modeling techniques. I do not remember having any problems with it.

It didnt cause me any major problems. The pioner rag should be replaced and the MG. That's about it I guess. Heres my version of the kit:

Good luck with it, and happy holidays

The MG mount is the wrong type for this truck other then that it builds up into a nice model without too many major issues.

cheers
