That has me stumped too,all the pics I have of either the Panzer 1 A or B have a bar across 4 out of 5 roadwheels.
I guess it could be a prototype or test tank, maybe for a new kind of roadwheel/track system on the Pz 1?
Sorry I cant help, but its an interesting pic .
Did you try over on Missing Lynx?
Regards
Mark

The running gear looks like the PzKpfw I nA verst (neue Ausfuhrung verstart) or new model uparmored. The photo I have of one has one less road wheel and a different looking sprocket. Perhaps this is the same modifications but done to the Ausf B.

according to Encylopedia of German Tanks by Chamberlain and Doyle, (picture # 39 is the same photo you show) it is the Krupp prototype to Pz Kpfw I specifications.
no other photos in the book

Thanks Peter,
I guess it does look like a krupp, Christie suspension without interleaved road wheels. Still can't find any sites about it, oh well .
"Tanks" again for clearing it up

Ola Guys
The vehicles name was Krupp's L.K.A.1 (Leichte Kampfwagen Ausland) export light tank.
A project that started in 1935 and the project was about tanks destined for export following the rules of the waffenamt. The vehicle was modeled after the Panzer 1 and two versions were made. One with MG´s called L.K.A.1 - M.G.-Kampfwagen and one with a 2 CM (20mm) gun added which was called L.K.A.2 - 2 cm Kampfwagen. Of the latter there was also a uparmored version made. Development went on till around 1940 but the project never reached production stage and the program was ended
Here is a picture of the L.K.A.2 - 2 cm Kampfwagen with the 20mm gun added
