Any way to tell which tank had textured armour vs smooth? I do mostly geramn ww 2 and some modern.

Are there any specific vehicles you're interested in? Would be easier that way, unless you have some clean crisp pictures of said vehicles.

If I am not mistaken, textured armour was only on tanks that had cast parts. I do not believe that the panzer III or IV had any cast parts so texturing would be inaccurate.

III or IV doesn't need testured surface, the only vehcilce I can really think of for now is the Jagdtiger.
