Not one of his best works, I have to say.
The rubble looks a bit like bread pieces and there is waaaaaaay to little of it.
Why only big pieces - where is all the small pieces and the dust ??
Tank looks nice though

Got to agree with Jan... too little rubble! The figures/tank look too clean... Art Instructor might want to weather them up somemore.
The weathering and details on the building looks awesome though!

The building looks great as does the KV for the most part but the tracks do look a little to clean for my taste .
I would agree to adding more rubble , also it also appears the rubble allready there has a slight sheen to it , but that may be the pics.
Im not sure about the crewman sitting on the hull , he does not appear to sit right and appears to have been added as an afterthought, in some pics he looks ok in others he does not , just my personal opinion though
In all though a nice dio

The building and the Av look great. But I have to agree with the friends about the rubble and the dirt on the AV. That place must have some dust, although it's a rubble
The positioning of the sitted figure looks littke bit unreal. Maybe can be resolved if he steps better.
The street lamp needs a bulb in it and some weathering.
Thanks for sharing

The KV is very good, but the composition of the diorama is poor.
The title suggests an attack, but the tank does not have the impression of having just burst through the wall.
The figures are poorly chosen, the tank crew just stand there, whilst the lone infantryman (with tankers helmet?) advances
The rubble has already been montioned, but if the tank has just demolished the wall, there would be masses of bricks and dust and debris on the tank, as well as in front of it.

I' m afraid I have to agree the lack of rubble is a discredit to this dio. The parts look good on their own but there is no commonality between them. May you could try to do something on this?

I have to agree to everyone:
there is not enough rubble, the part of the wall where the stones are damaged looks like cut out with scissors.
Furthermore it appears to me that the right fender touches the track, and the worst is the dio composition. It is very frontal and not very dynamic and there is a distempering contrast between the relaxed figures and the running figure.
I love the weathering of the house though, there are some pretty great effects.
(nevertheless I wonder where the dio is meant to be since I don´t really know what "Bor" an "Sör" means)
All in all I´d say with some minor works like adding rubble and changing the base a bit you could make this become an outstanding dio, maybe you should try a bit...
Greetings, ekke
BTW: apparently people like the idea of tanks breaking through houses for dios , but tankers in reality would avoid this like the plague. The danger of damaging vital parts of the tank such as the drivetrain and the barrel are far too big, so if there´s another posssiblity you´d rather not try...)

I feel like that tank crew is a modern subject. It looks as if theres an AK-47 style weapon in the one tankers hand....I may be mistaken and it could be an obscured view of a PPSH. I can't help, however, feel that this is the old Modern Russian tank crew set by Dragon.

Many thanks for all kind comments and compliments!
I agree that more rubble and small debris should be added to the dio.
BTW, the SLR version of this page is now available and I like it better than the digital version. SLR pictures are sharper, clearer, and better - at smaller file size :
