My mind has drawn a blank...(guess there was a bit too much wine this week) I know there is a company that makes a replacement idler for the Tamiya Panther G kit ...I just can't think of who makes it ...does anyone know who makes it and where I might get a few sets of them?

Both Friulmodel and Clipper Model from Japan make white metal replacement idlers. You might try The Barrel Store for the Friul ones or Rainbow Ten for the Clipper Model ones.

HI

Fruil makes a late model idler and Gum ka (??) makes a replacement as well. If you do a search on the old Mission Model site or HLJ you may yied better results than relying on my memory

Can anyone give me the number of the friul set so I can order them? By the way would the Dragon G Idler work to replace the Tamiya one or is it wrong too...

Craig -

Hope you had a very "Merry Christmas". I've got future plans for a Panther G ("Meow" Campaign) and diorama. I've got the Friul tracks and plan on getting the sprocket (FRL- AW-13) and idler (FRL-AW-19) soon. Those are the "numbers" I got off the ModelPoint web site. Hope this helps,

Blade48mrd

P.S. Thanks Craig - you got me promoted! Farther than I made it when I was on active duty at that! LOL
