Hey all!

It was a bit quiet on our K5 front but the last weeks Eric (aka 043) and I (aka 007) were working on Trumpeters big dinousar again.

Here you can see Eric's paintwork on the gun. Remeber; the model is almost one metre (UK spelling), one meter (US spelling) (app. three feet for those who don't like the metric system) in length!

And this is the way over three feet diorama I'm working on. It's made out of a wooden frame, filled with PUR foam, cutted in form, and layered with newspaper soaked in a mixture of PVA-glue and water.

Cheers!

Paul and Eric!

That will be an impressive dio when it's finished. Maybe you should extend it a little and add Trumpeter's new 1/35 locomotive pulling the Leopold?! :-)

:-) :-) :-)

The new Trumpeter loco is almost 90 cm. in length; that have to become a dio over 6 feet in lenght....

No, there is no loco comming to pull this one away.
We are actually still working on it as an entry for the Walcheren '44 campaign.
It's gonna be a dio of one of the (5 in total?) railguns left in by the retreating german army in The Netherlands between Sluiskil and the Belgian border.
Therefor, no krauts on this K5, but brave victorius Canadian liberators checking the beast for stay behind germans. (see also pic below)

Great model !!

I was just about to start painting the base for my my K5, but now I'm sure that there must be a more special base for it.

Maybe I should make it big enough for the loko

I actually got the right space for a dio that large.

Wow! Per, if you do, you are a very lucky man!
Most of my models dissapear in shoeboxes or are sold or given away to make room...

Luckely the K5 dio is going to stand at Eric's place, so I can ' visit' it now and then.... :-)
