I'm getting a little disatisfied with Testors dull coat; had soem yellowing issues.

What brands do you guys reccomend, both for brushing and airbrushing. Any brands come in a spray can?

On a side note, i bought some microscale micro flat but it's drying a satin like sheen. Any idea why, its stired very well.

Hi Andrew! I have never been able to get the Micro-Flat any duller than that.I think that's as good as it gets.
Clear laquers, as marketed for finishes, are not UV stabilized and can yellow pretty quickly in the presence of Sunlight. There are UV stabilized formulas of clear laquer available at commercial paint stores. They should also be able to flatten the hell out of it for you too! .However, you may have to buy a minimum of a gallon for them to make it up,even for a 'test'. The UV stabilized laquers are furniture grade and rather pricey.

Andrew:

If you have a Michael's or similar Arts and Craft store near you. You may want to look at a product called Delta Ceramcoat. You can find it in the Craft paint section.

It is acrylic, odorless, and dries in 10 min. Most importanly is the Matte dries dead flat.

Just be sure to mix it up really well and it is ready to go straight from the bottle. Either in an Airbrush or Paint brush

Try Michaels or Franks craft for the Matt spray Artist use for chalk pastels. I cant remeber the brand name, but it dries Flater than flat and never yellows.
