This is likely a frequently asked question, but does anyone have a good technique for modeling water? I have tried several techniques, but they are not very convincing.
I build mainly 1/35th scale armor, and want to do a diorama of a bridge scene with water underneath. I would also like to be able to submerge something in the water: sunken boat or vehicle.
Thanks,
irish

I use this stuff.

I usually pour it in two or three layers. You can see an explanation here.... the base and water discussion start on page 9
