Sometimes looking is better than touching, really..
One of my future projects in the pipeline is a completely tricked out Panzer IV, either a H or a J, with selected parts of the hull and turret cut away to show the interior. I'm slowly collecting all the bits for it, and sometimes when I need to cheer myself up, I just get out the resin and look...
These are the CMK interior sets I picked up at Telford last month, and the detail and casting is simply superb. I'm drooling as we speak...
This is the drivers compartment set, the engine set is as good, and as for the turret set, that should really have an 18 certificate... .
If I was a woman, I would want CMK's babies...
Cheers
Henk

Oh Henk my friend,
Ya got the Smallstrum P IV and DW in the pipeline, and you are looking for more??!!! :-)
This is where you gonna get in trouble. Working on one kit, thinking about another kit, while buying more kits, and saving up for that kit you really want, waiting more companies to put out more kits.
:-) hehe let the ill cycle begin!

A couple of years ago I picked up the verlinden Pnzr IV interior set for a song. I just installed it in an Academy H kit. Looks great, but no-where near as super detailed as what you've got. The thing is, I 've got all my hatches open and very little of the super-detail shows through. So other than making things like the upper deck and turret top removable, all your extra goodies and labor of love will go hidden.

Morning Cobber,
Im 58yrs yet I still like to sit on the floor and look at my grey army, (all figures) allways around this time of the year, "O did not rember having him, or that part will be handy , he! he! " then I put them all away again, smile feel good and then go off and sculpt something else, its good just looking, how about you?..
happy and a healthy new year to you all...

Benjamin,
The Pzr IV Schmallturm is 'on hold', possibly permanently as I still have not heard back from Azimut... . I'll leave it untill January, in case they are having a holiday, but then I'll hit them witj a few more e-mails. So far they have failed to reply, which really p%%%%d me off. I might use the hull for something else in the end...
As for models in progress/in the pipeline, at the latest count I have:
In various stages of 'progress'
DW
Warrior MCV
Opel Blitz radio truck ( with scratch built interior..)
StuG III
M18 Hellcat
YPR ( Dutch Version)
In the pipeline
250/9 (with an increasing amount of PE...)
Panzer IV's (any type, I just like to built them.. )
FlaK 37
Nasshorn
M21 Halftrack. ( but that's another one of those ' why build it OOB if I can turn it into a Vietnam version... )
And as for kits I want to buy... oh god, where to start.. or indeed to stop.. :-) :-) .
Oh, and for sometime next year, there will be a ' OOB classic kits' Campaign/groupbuild, where you have to built a pre 1980's kit, OOB... I found a Banday Nasshorn, in 1:48. Kit is quite good, but the figures are shocking...
Karl,
My reference library has been steadily expanding, with a bias towards Pzr IV books... I'm looking at ordering the Pzr IV book by J. Spielberger next month, after my account has recovered from Christmas.. So yes, plenty of interior references. And for anything I have not covered, no doubt the answer will be provided by somebody on Armorama.
Ian,
That 88 is a very nice kit, I've spend some very satisfying hours thinking which version to do....
Cheers

Henk,
I've try to contact Azimut many times with no luck as well.
I hate to say this but perhaps you should just count your loss and get a replacement part for the P IV.
That P IV you are working on looks great and should be finish to do it's justice.
It's rather disappointing when a model company that put out great kits treat their customers like that.
Anyway, like I said before you do great work and I CAN NOT wait for you to finish that fine piece work of yours.
