Me neither. This Panther is certainly well camouflaged..

Would love to see it, though - as I'm currently building the Panther II as well.

The more I look at this tank, the more I like it. The figure is well painted too. Excellent choice cobination of color and weathering.

Very clever! But a better choice of weapon would be a PAK developed from the 105mm FLAK (such as the 88 was). A 105 mm PAK, although firing a smaller shell than the 128, would have a higher rate of fire, greater ease in handling a smaller and lighter ammunition, and still be able to knock out (by this time) JS lll's, and Pershing ll's before they, themselves, were in range of their foes.

Very nice indeed. Love the colour - almost like the Panzergrau of the early stages of the war.
Well done!

You have done a very nice job.
My only comment is, Why are 2 wheels dirty and the most of them not? I think you have to change that, but that is my thought about it.
Still you have done a great job!!

Thanks again for the comments guys. The panther was done about 3 years ago just as a break from doing a bunch of research and that made it a fun break. Actually the paint color is just from a can of dark gray automotive spray primer. When I pur the mud on the wheels, I left some of them clean because I like the random look--maybe the mud has fallen off of the cleaner wheels or they are replacement wheels. The gun barrel was made from a long piece of aluminum rod the a I turned on my lathe. The barrel muzzle brake is made from a piece of a car tire valve--the hole in the end scaled out to 88mm in 1/35 so I thought it made a good brake. So the gun is an 88mm something since its not a model of anything real--at least thats my story and I am sticking to it! Happy New Year everyone!
