Hi all,
.I am at the moment planning a boxed diorama. My basic idea was to make a rectangular shaped box,30cm in height,15cm deep and about 40cm wide.Inside of the box i will be adding a building ruin with smoke coming out of the windows and roof. The inside of the box will be painted matt black.Outside of the ruin will be assorted debris on the street.
Figures will be from a new German Gen. 2 kit in winter clothing placed amongst the debris. The inside of the building should be dark enough to add 1 or 2 small LED lights, coloured orange(for a fire type effect).I hope to post a scan of my idea within the next few days(when the hangover is cured)!!.Any thoughts of what i could do or shouldn't do with the dio?BTW the building will be on a slight angle,as to emphasise the soldiers moving forward.
Cheers, and a Happy New Year to everyone at Armorama!!

I am not claiming to be an expert in this area but I can tell you that your model railroad shops are great sources for lights, light switches, and wiring in small scale. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
