This is my entry for the 'Bombs away' campaign and is also my first all resin kit.

I was going to do a Mosquito FB VI but thought this would be a bit more unusual.

Rob no problem,

The kit is from Planet models, item No.089 1/72 scale in resin it has a vacformed canopy and as none flew a set of generic German markings.
It looks like I have got a fair bit of clean up to do. You do get a SC1000 bomb for the bomb bay which of course can be left open.

From my research it would appear that a mock up of this aircraft was contructed during the closing stages of the second world war and an engineless glider was flight tested in the winter of 44/45. It was to use two DB603G or Jumo 213 engines with the engines buried in the wings driving pusher props. Estimated speed at altitude was 426Mph.
Designed rolls where to have been - Heavy fighter, Escort fighter, Night fighter, Dive bomber, Ground attack and Reconnaissance.
Information taken from - Luftwaffe Secret Projects, ground attack and special purpose aircraft page 126.

I hope this is of some help Rob.

Ciao

Thanks for that great explination, Littorio!
I wish I could get this kit! I can't buy online, and my LHS is pretty skimpy on new releases and has no resin models whatsoever... And don't get me started on most of the prices in the store... >:-(
