Hey guys. Hopefully you will be able to see these pics of my RPM minenraumer that I have ready to paint and weather. This kit was really a mess and the hull still has some warp in it that I could not get out. Not sure what paint color to use. What do you think--gray or dark yellow or three tone camo? I cant really tell much from the photos in the Rossagraph book other than it looks like its one color.

The one on display at Kubinka Tank Museum in Russia is painted all over grey. There's a photo at the bottom of this page .

Hi Torchy
Unless you like doing a lot of correcting and making parts, stay away from this kit. The hull pieces are badly warped--that why I made a new hull top from sheet plastic because the kit part could not be used. The wheels and wheel shoes have fit problems and the wheel hubs are not accurate. I made my own resin cast wheel hubs to get the dome shape closer to what the reference pics look like. I used a turret from an Italeri panzer I because the multiple piece kit part had fit problems as well. I really think the kit is overpriced too--around $30.00 here when I bought it. But if you do buy and build it you certainly will have an unusual model to display. Have fun!

Thanks Gary
I'll give this one a miss,it's £24 over here,I do hate parting with cash for a kit to bin half of it!.
I like the look of your one ,I look forward to seeing it painted,I can't find any pics apart from Tony Greenlands build, which he has painted it ,Dunkelgelb and olivgrun
Cheers
Andy

No way is the RPM kit worth that much! Mine was overpriced and when I bought it that was on sale. Also another thing about the kit parts. The hatch opening for the hatch behind the turret has square corners while the kit part hatches have rounded corners! Good idea to save your money on this one unless you just have to have a minenraumer.

Hi Gary,
I think my only other option is to try and hunt down an Armour accessories resin kit
I got the price wrong ,it's nearer £27 here for the RPM kit,I can get a dml Tiger or panzer IV e inc postage for that!!.
