I just received the Model Air Panzer Colors set yesterday. I was painting a junker model that I use for practice and noticed that all colors sprayed well with the exception of the dark yellow. It would his the model and almose immediately start to run. I backed the airbrush further awat from the model and it did not help much. If I back it away any further I will be lucky to get a very light mist on the model. I had the same problem with Lifecolor dark yellow as well. Is it something particular with this color?
I primed the model with flat black enamel so it should not be a problem of the acrylic being able to bite into the plastic. I sprayed with an Iwata gravity feed Revolution. I did not thin the paint as they appear to be this enough and spray very well with the exception of the runs. Definitely not a case of the paint drying before it hits the model. I do love the way that the Vallejo dries dead flat.
Any input or help would be greatly appreciated.

Strange... you did not thin the paint and it starts to run immediately once it hits the model. I'm sure it has got nothing to do with the color. Maybe the problem lies with that bottle of dark yellow.
Bring it back and ask for a change.

I would take the paint back to the store. It might have been frozen during transit or it's just defective. I have one bottle of citadel acrylic that just refuses to cover. I have stirred the paint properly and it's still runny and refuses to cover properly.
