I've never had much luck making birds in 1/35th scale, though I have tried making them out of Milliput ... it was just too small for my ham-fisted efforts.
I have seen other modelers make birds in 1/35th, so I know it is possible. One fella I knew converted the chick figures from Tamiya's old Livestock Set (kit no. 128) into sparrow-like birds by adding wings and tails. Sorry, I don't have any pics.

This is really tough,Zalder. For sparrows in flight I would try cutting them out of thinly rolled out clay(milliput?).Use blades, toothpicks, dental picks and such to get some kind of outline and the beef it up to 3D shape.Sitting,standing/nesting Sparrows? These can't be bigger than your average booger in 1/35 scale. No help there I'm afraid.
Good Luck!

The Tammy "German Tank Crew at Rest" figure set comes with 2 birds. One is a big crow/raven but the other may be small enough to be sparrowish.

I may have a couple of birds lying around. I will check.

Birds can be tricky there is however ther eare some 1/48th scale black birds for model railroaders that I found useful, they are little big for sparrows in 1/35th but work great fro crows. They are Arttista model#1239
Hope they help. cheers Kevin
