I hope this will be a decent kit, from what I have heard of zvesda, are the fittings and overall details etc not so good.

I emailed them at the end of last year Nov/Dec and they indicated not to expect it before Spring but that it was still on...I posted the email here somewhere...good luck finding it (the post)! Also noted that Greatmodels had a pre-order for the kit as well.

Mike, any confirmation of the rumor that the Zvezda kit will be a tweaked or reworked Dragon T-72? That kit has enough basic problems that I hope they make one from the ground up. Zvezda has done several original kits that were pretty good for their time like the T-34 and T-26.

Looking at the "boxart", it seems this could be a good kit. I'm waiting seeing a complete model picture to confirm that. As Robin states it, we can fear a retooled Dragon T-72 kit which would be a pity.

Hey Robin,
Unfortunately the exchange was simply, "is there going to be a T-90 kit?" with the answer being, "yes, but not till (I think they said) second quarter."
I merely emailed them via their site's contact page and surprisingly got a response. Actually it wasn't too surprisig as it was the second time I elicited a response from them, first time I enquiried about their parts replacement service sending images to them of my damaged T-72A. They subsequently sent a replacement all the way from Russia!
Here's their contact page, hell, bug them about the T-90! Post your replies here if you get one:
