Try Rail Road shops, they would be your best bet. Even a civilian modern bike would be close enough.

I think O guage is the size you would need for 1/48

You can try at Propaganda Kompany , they have some...
But I must warn you: M. Le Bayon (PK owner) had health problems lately and I had to wait 4 months to get my Japanese Scout car and side car (nice "garage" kits by the way) so you better be patient! The good side of the story is that I received extra figures for free for the long delay...
