I have gotten the 251 bug and bought a few (7) Dragon 251 kits over the past few months. Before I get building I am hitting the research books and would like to know what you 251 afficionadoes use for the internal colours. I use acrylics which I mix myself but if you could give me humbrol or similar colour numbers I would be eternally greatful.

Cheers

Hi Alex ..the simple answer is the interior is the same color as the exterior in 95% of the times ...what could happen is during the transfer over from the Grey to the dark yellow base coats (end of 42 beginning of 43),many vehicles just had the exterior repainted ...this could also be the case for some sent to North Africa.... Also they do say that a very few "A" models would have had the crew compartment painted in a light Ivory color..but this was discontinued very early on...
I hope this helps a bit

Thanks Rick, I had thought this might be the case and it is the easier option.

Cheers
