Does anyone have some good references for the various casting marks on the M47? I'm particularly interested in the mark that I've been told was somewhere on the lower front hull. None of my references show it (don't have access to Hunnicutt) and the M47s I have been able to locate had most of the casting marks ground off at some point in teh preservation process.

Also, does anyone have any photos of the M47 in USMC use? I know the Corps used them briefly in the 50s, maybe into the early 60s. I understand that 3rd Tanks on Okinawa had them the longest.
