Does anybody know if the update set from verlinden VP1329 designed for the tamiya´s KV kit fits on Trumpeter´s one?

I just had a look at the Verlinden set and did some comparing to the Trumpeter KV 1. I think the engine part will work ok as the Trumpeter engine hatch is a seperate peice. The intake screens on the kit are larger than the Verlinden set as is the engine deck. On the other hand, the fenders supports are smaller on the kit, but the Verlinden photo etched parts can be cut down. The add on parts can be used as is.
The Trumpeter kit is much better detailed than the old Tamiya kit. I have seen a built one, and it looked very good.
