I guess me and Olivier(Bison126) is having a mini sub campaign on building the Bradley. I've been helping him out with pages from the parts TM's for the Bradley for this project.
I posted pictures earlier of the turret, so here is what I have doen on the upper hull. The red Sharpie markings is where the anti slip coating is gonna go.
Special thanks goes out to Pawel(Vodnik) for his help on this subject. But it's funny, no offense Pawel, getting help from a civilian on a vehicle I get to work on and play with every day. Well, not the A2, an A0+ version. I have access to all the manuals and yet Pawel has provided me with information I couldn't find.
Still have alot to go.

Looks good so far. Lets see it with some anti-slip coating on it next. Which method are you going to use? I sued the Rustoleum one on mine, worked great as usual.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Looks good Epi and will serve as a guide for my anti-slip pattern when I'm brave enough to start this headache step !
Keep on posting.

This will be exciting, Pete. I will follow your build for sure. Some time during the winter/spring I will start an attempt on one of my own Bradleys, so all your information are stored "in a safe place" as soon as you post it :-) .
Gino: What kind of Rustoleum do you use? I googled the company and there are lots of different types.
Erik
Edit: I think I misread your post, Gino. Sorry. Am I right if I say you use the terra cotta spray from rustolium?

Thanks Pete.
I just got a spray can of "Warhammer Roughcoat" which I thought would turn out nice for anti slip coating. I tried it on a piece of scrap plastic and it looks great. Only one problem: It sprays with very high preassure since the paint is sort of grainy, and masking seems to be a problem since the paint got under the tape. How do you mask for spraying with high preassure? I would really like to use the "roughcoat" since the finish is great, but have no idea how to mask of the areas in a proper way

Good question Erik. Yet another method for anti slip.
I was gonna use Tamyia tape for my masking. I'm gonna go to my LHS this weekend and see if they have that stuff you got and give it try with the Tamiya tape.
Can you take a picture of what it looks like after you spray it on?

Sure. Give me 30 minutes...
Edit: Lets say an hour. Need to recharge some batteries.

Over on ML, they have "tweaks list" for certain vehicles. I wonder what we can do here with all this info we've been passing around.
Any ideas from the staff on this?????

To me, the best to do is have Vodnik updating his excellent article which is a must in my opinion. Of course, he may not have time enough.
Just to let you know, I'm currently working on a tweak list for the Tamiya Leclerc with the help of modelers at ML.
Erik, your idea of Warhammer Roughcoat sounds interesting. I could give it a try. Crossing my fingers for a valuable result

Yup, Rust-Oleum Terra Cotta spray is what I use. I mask with good ol' 3M Masking Tape, nothing special.
An updated M2 tweaks article would be great as well. We have been passing around a bunch of info on them lately.
Good luck to each of you on your anti-slip coating.

Here is the pic, Pete.
I am not sure if I would recommend this... As I said it sprays with a very high pressure, and I'm not sure if it looks right. I bought the spray can as an experiment. As you can see from the pic I still have some problems with the masking tape (I used ordinary maskingtape).
Gino: The terra cotta, does it come in a spray can or do you use an airbrush? I'm a bit interested since this product seems to be available in Norway as well.

Erik,
Minus the masking problem, it looks pretty good. I'm gonna give it try on some scrap plastic, along with Gino's way.

The correct name for the spray I tried is "Games Workshop Roughcoat" from Citadel colors. Product number 99209999028, order nr 62-13. It comes in a 400 ml spray can, so it should last a long time. Costs about 13$ in Norway, so it is probably around 7$ in the US.

Erik, I use the Rust-Oleum Terra Cotta in the spray can. Costs about $4.50 USD. Works great, just follow the directions on the can.
