This is Tamiya's Famo in 1/35. The Famo itself was built totally OOB, except for a set of Friul tracks. I did include Tamiya's fuel drum kit as well as some pieces out of Verlindens cargo kit. I used Tamiya acrylics for the main color and MIG powders and artist's oils for washes and weathering. One thing this kit did give me was a chance to practice on my figure painting. Not that I've gotten any better at it, but I did get a lot of practice!

Anyway, comments and suggestions are welcome as always.

Great kit to build. It pretty much just fell together. No fit issues whatsoever.

Hey Cary,

Good job there. nice clean build. The figures must take up alot of time huh :-)

Ya got the close up on the figgies? They seem very nice.

How was the build on the fruil track? Was it difficult?

Thanks Ben. No close ups on the figs as my camera batteries died and I have no replacements! The Friuls were a real pain to assemble. They were very fragile. Thankfully they provided more than enough because I broke several. On top of that, I used straight pins instead of the flimsy wire Friul supplied. Tonight, I found where one of the wayward pins went when I stepped on it while walking around in my socks! As if going into my foot wasn't bad enough, I had to then pull it out! Ouch.

Looks really good, Cary. Did the figs come with the kit?

David, all of the figs came with the kit. They're not the greatest, but the number of them sure do make a difference in the final look I think.
