This post was part of a question on Zimmerit, so got sort of hidden & noone answered it. My fault. So here it is again.

I'm modelling the Wittmann vehicle, so I've got a choice vehicle of number 205, 222, 231 or 007. Only the latter seems to be a command version with extra antennae, 222 & 231 were "troop horses" as it were so they wouldn't, & from the photos on the Wittmann website it would appear 205 didn't either (although it was specifically a company commanders vehicle from the start). Is this correct?
Also I remember on the old Tamiya kit years ago, there was a very complicated gun kill marking transfer. I've seen this applied in photos taken in Russia, but was it used in Normandy?

That ornate kill ring job on that Tiger of Wittmann's was only in Russia. His mounts in France were fairly muted.
