Looking for any info on the applique armor used on the BMP-1 by the Soviets in Afganistan, primarily on the shape and size of the applique armour used later on in the campaign. Is/was the applique the same as the Iraqi applique? I've got a bunch of info on the standard model, but very few images or info on the applique used by the Soviets.
