I am building the DML Tiger 1 Late. What color is the "engine" compartment that is supplied in the kit?

Not sure what you mean- there is nothing in the engine compartment. The cooling compartments at each side are provided.
Anyway: it was red primer overall. Fuel tanks were are metal, not that you can see them. Rdiators were black. Fans were aluminium-color with bronze-color hubs.
